SCHROEDER is a deeply introspective audiovisual experience that explores human fragility, self-destruction, existential emptiness, and the possibility of rebirth from the ashes. Through a narrative divided into acts and immersive soundscapes, the work follows the life of Schroeder: a boy cast out from his home who sacrifices his artistic calling out of family loyalty, beginning a slow psychological and emotional descent that confronts him with his own identity, his broken dreams, and the disintegration of his being.
With an aesthetic inspired by expressionism, psychological surrealism, and experimental cinema, SCHROEDER combines live original music, cinematic visuals, conceptual storytelling, and extreme atmospheres that oscillate between the chaotic, the melancholic, and the metaphysical.
The piece will be performed entirely live by an onstage ensemble of 15 musicians—featuring drums, bass, piano, two guitars, clarinet, flute, tenor saxophone, bassoon, a string quintet, and vocals—constructing an expansive and cinematic sonic experience that fuses contemporary music, experimental jazz, chamber music, and atmospheric textures. This premiere represents the culmination of a large-scale artistic and human journey that we have built from the ground up with immense dedication, care, and conviction.
The official premiere will take place on September 5, 2026, at 7:30 PM. We look forward to seeing you there!
