Works
- Integración
- Released: 30/8/2025
- Integración deals with the unification of opposite poles. Musically, it is portrayed with a cell to which objects are added to form a composition of materials that ultimately disintegrate into its initial form.
- Ad Infinitum
- Released: 16/4/2025
- A symbolism of what the human aspiration to know and understand ourselves means to me. I liked the idea that, being unable to grasp the knowledge of universal principles, we are only capable of aspiring to them; from this constant effort to be part of the transcendent, the name Ad Infinitum is born, which means "to infinity" in Latin.
- Tetrakys
- Released: 20/1/2025
- One of the concepts of arithmetic is employed in Tetraktys (which symbolizes the creation of the universe, totality, the end, dualism, and the four elements), where the main theme (the beginning) is literally constructed from the anthroposophical reduction of Pythagoras' tetraktys.
- Dear Motif
- Released: 20/12/2024
- Dear motif deals with the development of the musical motif from which the entire work of Ad Infinitum emerged. It originated in a piece that was never released, called "Without Forethought", and ultimately was the only melodic motif that survived and gave rise to the complete work. There was a process of appropriation for each instrument in that motif, which developed differently for each one.
- Ekphonesis
- Released: 30/11/2024
- Ekphonesis, as employed in the literary language, deals with the idea of human drama immersed in constant search, as a climactic point with a profound sense of what is "significant"; (however, it is written with a "k" instead of "c" as it "should be" simply to evoke a concept related to ecphonesis, but not in its literal sense), making it, so to speak, an invented word that arises from its literary concept, semantically related but not meaning the same thing.
- Metávasi
- Released: 29/3/2023
- Metávasi, meaning transition in Latin, portrays a journey from a more primitive and seemingly irrational perspective to a more cosmological and structured thought process. It is a way of conceptualizing evolution as a process that can be perceived as the movement from simplicity to complexity in a reductionist sense, yet fruitful. This is the first work assembled by the group that later became Intuitum, and it is interesting what it represents on an abstract level with respect to the tangible idea of transition for those involved in the project, as carrying it out represented a qualitative leap on a technical-executive level for the musicians and engineers involved, as well as for me as the director. All of this made me recognize a possible manifestation of the concept of transition, which can sometimes mean the act of appearing to be in a state, and executing a process through the discovery of a capacity that was not preconceived. That threshold between inexperience and experience, where we will find error, is transcendence itself. Metávasi is nothing more than the recognition of possible error as an object of immediate transcendence. -Diego Avgarde, March 2026
